NUR has been busy bidding on a condo renovation project last week. The client, who NUR has worked for in the past, has supplied plans and renderings.
The condotel design features a roof top swimming pool combined with restaurant that overlooks the sea at Chalong. The central core throughout all floors is open to the sky. There are 5 floors with living units, comprising of studio, single and double bedrooms.
Suras Matchavat is the project manager for costing, scheduling and procurement which includes building materials and sub contractors. The client intends to import furniture, fittings & sanitary. NUR has made a design review and constructability based on the current structure. The current building has sea views and can be partially demolished to save on cost and minimise C&D waste & recycling.
Chalong is towards the southern end of Phuket, it a fantastic area that is undergoing rapid development. Chalong pier is home to many yachts and boats which are chartered or tour different islands that surround Phuket. The Chalong underpass was completed a few years ago in anticipation of high numbers of tourist numbers.
